Where is Well Wave?

There are currently around 250 Well Wave workers at around 60 Well Wave Points across Leeds.

We have Well Wave points in different community spaces such as youth clubs, schools, colleges, community centres, support services, hospitals and sports centres.

You can learn more about the different Well Wave Points by searching our service map in the Find Your Nearest Well Wave Point section at the top of this page.

You can go to any Well Wave Point that is comfortable and convenient to you.

You don’t have to go to the same one each time unless you want to.

Well Wave workers aren’t doctors. They are people who have trained to work alongside young people, who believe all young people should have someone they can talk to about sex, relationships and wellbeing.

Many Well Wave Points aren’t on the service map. Usually this is because the Well Wave workers in these organisations can only work with young people who already go to that space for another reason. In these places the workers usually let young people know they are a Well Wave Point when they meet for the first time.

If you aren’t sure if a place you go to has Well Wave workers, you could ask a member of staff there if there are any trained Well Wave workers in the team, or you could ask us on socials or by emailing wellwave@leeds.gov.uk.
